The Jets don’t have to roll out Geno Smith or Bryce Petty, so the offense that has added Matt Forte will enjoy the benefits of having Ryan Fitzpatrick behind center. This team is the same, with a year of cohesiveness under their belts.
The Bengals on the other land have lost two of their top four pass catchers, and Tyler Eifert is likely going to be out. So A.J Green and the running game will have to figure out how to get yardage against what could be a top five Jets defense. It’s just difficult to be optimistic about the Bengal offense.
New York 24 Cincinnati 20 – The Bengals still have a great defense, so this game will still be close, but that New York will prove to be too strong on both sides of the ball.
