PROS: This game between two expected division bottom dwellers is no lightweight game to the respective fan bases. Both Doug Pederson and Hue Jackson are coaching their first game with their new teams, and both have a QB that’s never started for them before. Needless to say, inside the ropes, there’s a lot riding on this as both coaches will want to get out to a great start.
CONS: Aside from Jordan Matthews, this game lacks a true player on the offensive side of the ball for both teams, and there’s no guarantee Carson Wentz is even going to be able to get him the ball with Joe Haden on him. A rookie QB on one side, and a ticking time bomb on the other, this game also has disaster potential.
PREDICTION: Cleveland 23 Philadelphia 20 – Robert Griffin goes into Philly and finds all the receivers on the roster while ultimately saving the team with his legs.
