Los Angeles, CA — In a rare matchup of talents the Los Angeles LaceFacts All-Stars battled it out with the San Diego LaceFacts All-Stars. Early in the first half, it looked as if team L.A. would break open the scoring with Damani Pores 25-yard scamper towards the endzone but would be stopped just short of scoring. The first half would end scoreless as both teams proved field elite defences.
The second half picked up where the first half left, with both defenses dominating the opposing offenses until the S.D. All-Stars broke open the scoring. Midway through the third quarter Honor Faalave-Johnson (#22) broke for a 60-yard scamper to make the score 6-0. The L.A. All Stars would fail to answer the call as the the S.D. All-Star defense started to dial in. On a drive that showed promise, L.A. All-Star Quarterback Jaden Jefferson (#3) would fumble on a Quarterback keeper, giving the S.D. All-Stars the ball back mid field. San Diego would waste little time sealing the game at 13-0. The L.A. All-Stars would make it final attempt at a late comeback, that was negated by a Dyami Collins Interception.
